How to remove empty rows and columns from tables in Word?

In the Word, put cursor into the specified table to activate it, next click the cross at the top-left corer of the table to select the whole table, and then select Delete Delete Table to remove it. At some point, you may surrender the notion of needing a table in Word 2016 and desire the text to be freed from the table’s confines. To perform such a jailbreak, you convert the table back into plain text or even tab-formatted text. Obey these steps: Click inside the table you want to convert.

    u know you can just resize the table right? just filter and sort your data to top check how many rows have data, click table tools and the click resize and adjust the last number to whatever you need OR go to the bottom of the table the very last cell and use the tine blue triangle to drag and resize,

    Is there a macro that will delete a row if only one of the cells in that row is empty or contains a zero?

    Hello developers - I have this macro which sits in a button and when clicked (the macro) removes the table directly above the button. Can this be fixed so that the macro only works once? Ie. if there are 2 tables in the document only 1 is deleted - then the macro ceases to work.. can you advise?
    Sub tableDelete()
    '
    ' tableDelete Macro
    'Dim nTables As Integer
    nTables = ActiveDocument.Tables.Count
    ActiveDocument.Tables(nTables).Delete
    '
    End Sub

First off, let me boldly state the following that I am sure many of you can concur with: I AM SICK AND TIRED OF MS WORD! Thank you to everyone at Open Office for their time in making your AMAZING FREE OFFICE SUITE!
I haven't done much work with tables until recently, and I have come across a slight glitch (user incompetence)
I am using the most up-to-date Writer 2.3.1. Please review the following two screen shots:

You can see at the Red arrow there is no space, but at the Green arrow, there is a space. As you can see this is part of a List and I am using tables to get easier control over different levels of sub-lists.
I don't know how to remove the space below tables at the green arrow. I have tried everything I can think of.. My document is rather long with a lot of short lists and these added spaces taking up a lot of it. As for the tables above and below the Red arrow, I don't know how it did that! I have gone through many menus and I can't figure out how to get closer to the table below it. I think the tables in the Red arrow are corrupt somehow and somehow the space below that table was accidentally replaced or hidden.
My Question:

Removing Table View In Microsoft Word For Mac 2016 Manual

How can I eliminate the blank space you see above the Green Arrow beneath all of my tables? Delete and Backspace just erase the entire table or break out of the List!
