I can receive emails with attachments of any size; with an older computer with Outlook I can send attachments of any size using the same email-account; and the Apple 'Mail' program can send attachments of any size. Attachment size limits: Specifies the maximum size of a single attachment in a message. The message might contain many smaller attachments that greatly increase its overall size.
2. We are running exchange 2010 and few mac clients having issues sending attachment more than 10MB. For the same users they can use OWA and send the attachment without any issue. I searched the technet and found that i need to change MaxRequestLength in ExchangeWeb EWS folder and restart the IIS. It did not help, Mac client still have the issue.

Change attachment limited size with Registry Editor (6 steps)

To change the attachment size limitation in Microsoft Outlook, you have to modify the parameter of MaximumAttachmentSize in the Registry Editor. And you can do it with following steps.

Step 1: Press the Win + R to open the Run dialog box, enter the regedit in the Open box, and click the OK button.

Step 2: In the coming User Account Control dialog box, click the Yes button.

Step 3: Now the Registry Editor window opens. Open the Preferences folder with following paths:

Step 4: Click the Edit > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name the new DWORD as MaximumAttachmentSize.

Flicker free plugin. Step 5: Double click the new DWORD to open the Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value dialog box, check the Decimal option, enter the attachment size limitation in the Value data box, and click the OK button. See screen shot below:

For example, you want to change the attachment size limitation to 100MB, enter the 102400 in the Value data box.

Note: If you do not want to limit the attachment size in Outlook, just enter the 0 in the Value data box.

Step 6: Close the Registry Editor window, and restart Microsoft Outlook.

After changing the attachment size limitation in the Registry Editor window, attachments will be inserted successfully only if their sizes are less than attachment size limitation. See following screen shot:

Dear Sir or Madam,

With Outlook 2016 on my Macbook Pro I am not able to send attachments larger than about 10 MB. The program accepts multiple attachments of any size but the transmission fails after trying for about 5 Min. I receive an error message (sorry, my OS is installed with German):

Does anybody have a idea what is going on here? Does anybody know where the preferences for Outlook are stored and how to check or change them? I understand that it is possible to limit the email size in the preferences, although the program doesn't complain about the size, it simply fails to transmit larger emails.
